New Stock expected ~7 Dec

New stock is expected around the middle of next week.

‘Back orders’ are no longer allowed, i.e. you can’t place and pay for an order if I don’t have stock.  But you can drop me a line at Please switch on JavaScript to see our email address to enquire when an item is expected back in stock.

Wishing all my supporters a very Happy Christmas!

Richard

Donation of Profits for year ended 31 Mar 2022

Today I have donated the profits of £390 from the last accounting year ended 31 March 2022:

£203 was donated to Zaytoun’s Trees for Life project enabling 50 olive trees to be planted.  The olive saplings are distributed to farmers and planted in Palestine, on an annual basis, every January.

£195 was donated to MAP, Medical Aid for Palestinians.  MAP’s vision is a future where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realization of their rights to health and dignity.

Thank you very much for your support.

New Stock planned for end of November

Once my supplier has stocks of Medjoul Dates I will be putting in an order which should be around the end of November.

So now is a good time to order larger sizes which I do not carry in stock, such as 5L olive oil and 5kg maftoul, and which I can order in especially for you.

The 150g packets of almonds have gone over their ‘best before’ date so I am selling existing stocks at cost price.  They will be withdrawn when fresh stocks are bought at the end of November.

You can read news here of products and topical events from my supplier, Zaytoun.

Removal of Back Orders

Trade is a little thin at present so I have had to remove the back-order facility which owing to minimum order levels would otherwise compel me to take on more stock than I can sell.

Please email me if you would like to order something that is out of stock and I will try to take that into account.

Thanks for your understanding.

Donation of Last Year’s Profits

Today I have donated the profits of £273 from the last accounting year, 31 March 2021:

£102 was donated to Zaytoun’s Trees for Life project enabling 25 olive trees to be planted.  The olive saplings are distributed to farmers and planted in Palestine, on an annual basis, every January.

£171 was donated to MAP, Medical Aid for Palestinians.  MAP’s vision is a future where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity.

Thank you for your support.

Welcome to Palestinian Produce

Broadbean Digital (courtesy of my son, Conrad, and his wife, Hannah) have made this lovely website for me through which I can bring Palestinian produce to you.  I have contacted many friends in the hope of stimulating interest to try the produce and I hope you will tell your family and friends.  If you have come direct to the website rather than by receiving an email from me you can read what inspired me to produce this website two thirds down the Home page under Palestinian Produce.

For it is in a really good cause.  Not only does purchasing their produce directly benefit Palestinian people but profits from this venture will be donated to two charities that work in Palestine:

Zaytoun supports an olive tree planting project, which is implemented by the Palestine Fair Trade Association and provides olive & almond saplings to Palestinian farmers.  While the program covers the majority of the cost of the saplings, the farmers pay a symbolic percentage as a demonstration of their commitment.

MAP, Medical Aid for Palestinians provides healthcare across Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon.

If you haven’t done so already, please consider signing up to my newsletter to allow me to tell you when I am expecting further deliveries of goods and also to tell you about occasional news, such as donations to the charities.

Kind regards,

Richard
